finance explorer As a (broke) college student, I downloaded this program to help me keep better track of where my money is going and how I can better budget myself.The program turned out to be somewhat useful. The register is pretty self explanatory and user-friendly, but when it comes to the budgeting feature, what I really wanted the program for, I'm at a loss as for what to do. It would be helpful if this program came with instructions or something.

I loved the graohical organization but the application proved to fall short when it came too multitaskability. It seemed almost unfriendly when it came to organization of accounts and information.

Limitations and problems encountered. Just opened up the file today. In 'playing 'around in the program there is a problem when entering in numbers for the 2nd half of the month, saving and they are not registering. Also found there are not enough areas to add more items in an effort to be more detailed about the different expenses.

Easy but limited The tracker is very easy to use but unfortunately for my purposes I'd like to be able to track more items (e.g., individual types of insurance versus just one bucket). It would be nice to be able to add records not just revise the names of the amount there now.

Good start. It is really simple, easy to use, and helpful. I just hope there are more categories listed. But, overall, I'm happy.

Just received my copy of CheckBook 2.3. The program is simple to use and works fine for balancing my checking account. I have used Quicken for years but after a crash I have been unable to restore the data from my backup discs.Since you do not provide a function named Backup I will just save a copy of my current Checkbook file to a different disk as a backup.

I can\'t save my changes or print any reports; it gives me an error message in something like wing dings. HELP please? thanks.

I just set up this program for my 85 year old mother to use and it is so simple she can use it herself. She is really excited about this program since she doesn't seem to be able to balance her checkbook manually any more. Nice program.

Hi...thanks for the recent e...So far I like Checkbook fine..from FAQ I did learn how to send the backup of my account to a removable disc...Is there anyway to get Checkbook to send future backups directly to my removable???Thanks for your help..Ed

Unusual Interface Accounts (Checking, Savings, etc) must be loaded in separate windows. Unclear how to combine accounts to see a complete picture of finances.

I thought I was downloading a customisable database for collectors which had a \"free use\" licence. Instead I apparently downloaded a gun collectors database which only had 30 days evaluation period. As neither of these factors met my requirements I deleted the software from my PC. I then tried again for the free-use customisable database, thinking that I had stupidly selected the wrong item. I checked my original Google listing and the web site it directed me to, and there it was :NM Collector Software JE 2.1.0. Cost: Free.I can\'t comment about their products but their lead-in service is terrible

Great Program This is a great program for people in my situation. I am disabled and it is very difficult for me to write. Now, with this program, all i have to do is sign my name. It has alleviated a lot of hassle for me.THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Great Easy To Use Program The program is easy to use once you figure out how to put the check in the printer so it will print correctly. Once that's done just put in your check info and hit print. It's just that easy. I love it.
