Before You Begin

Before you begin the recovery, make sure to read and follow these important instructions carefully.

If you have a corrupted disk or are about to undelete files using a data recovery tool, make sure to never save or install QA Disk Repair onto the damaged partition or onto the disk that contains the deleted files that you want to recover. Download and install QA Disk Repair onto another (healthy) disk, a separate partition, or use a USB flash memory drive.

Why? If you write anything onto the damaged disk or the disk with deleted files, the chances of successful recovery diminish. Avoid saving or installing anything onto the damaged partition or the disk that contains files that you want to recover.

How It Works

QA Disk Repair works in a few easy steps. All you need to do is selecting the hard drive to repair or recover files from, and let QA Disk Repair scan the drive. After the scan is complete, you'll be presented with a list of recoverable files, and will be able to preview each of them before deciding to save one.
